CH HSS Influences Expected Going into the Weekend (13-15 March)
published: Wednesday, March 11, 2026 15:42 UTC

A coronal hole high speed stream (CH HSS) increases the probability of period(s) of G1-Minor storm levels Friday, 13 March. Effects of the CH HSS are anticipated to continue through the weekend, with active conditions the most likely, but a chance for isolated G1 levels exists on Saturday. By Sunday CH HSS influences should weaken and quiet to unsettled levels are most likely, with a chance for an isolated active period.
