Region 3234 produced an M8.6 flare, which peaked at 28/1750 UTC. Flares of this magnitude correlate with R2 (Moderate) radio blackouts. The sunlit side of the Earth, including the CONUS, may have experienced temporary or limited blackouts of High Frequency (HF) radio signals. Conditions are expected to improve over the next few hours.
