As forecast, the CME observed leaving the Sun back on 06 April passed Earth's magnetosphere late on 09 April through mid-day today. The result was mostly G1 (minor) geomagnetic storm activity, with an isolated 3hr period of G2 (moderate) storming. There were some reports of Aurora as far South as southern Canada so far. Geomagnetic conditions are forecast to wane back towards quiet to unsettled conditions over the next 36 hours.
