G1 (Minor) Watch In Effect for the 8 November UTC-day

A G1 (Minor) geomagnetic storm watch is in effect for the 8 November, 2016 UTC-day. SWPC forecasters determined that an asymmetric, partial halo CME which occurred on 5 November in association with a disappearing solar filament, is anticipated to provide a glancing blow to Earth's magnetic field mid to late day on 8 November.
