G3 (Strong) Geomagnetic Storm levels were reached at 05 Nov/1740 UTC. The geomagnetic response at L1 and across our network of real-time magnetometer sites continues to be very strong. Total magnetic field strength peaked at 45 nT at the NOAA DSCOVR satellite at 05/1151 UTC and remains elevated as of this posting at around 20 nT. The potential remains for additional periods of G3 and greater storming as Europe and the Americas transition into the night time sector. A G3 warning remains in effect through the rest of the 05 Nov UTC-day.
